Ziad ghorly
The Managing Partner of Ghorly & Partners, Ziad primarily specialises in corporate, commercial, banking, and international economic and finance law. Ziad’s extensive experience in corporate and commercial Law has enabled him to successfully handle corporate structuring strategies for substantial investors in Lebanon and complete mergers and acquisitions of companies operating in Lebanon and other countries of the Levant. Working out of Ramzi Joreige & Partners’ corporate practice group for several years, Ziad was instrumental in providing corporations with counsel as to their operations in the Lebanese jurisdiction. Ziad’s experience extends throughout the Middle East – where he has advised start-ups, large conglomerates and institutional investors on market entry and corporate structuring in Lebanon and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In his years prior to founding Ghorly & Partners, Ziad worked out of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, structuring and negotiating mergers and acquisitions and establishing private equity and real estate funds.
Equally, Ziad advised corporates working in the real estate and construction sectors and represented their interests in arbitration and litigation proceedings. More recently Ziad has been structuring and negotiating syndicated loan facilities for investors in the Lebanese market with an emphasis on project and asset backed financing.
